What skills or experience have you gained from playing Runescape, which may have positively influenced your life?

• Increased entrepreneurship (had to hustle as a kid to get rune (g) lol)
• Understood from a young age that hard work pays off
• Learned to control my addictions

Cons

• Too much time wasted

faster typing and some english since english not my native language.

 

Faster typing for sure, I remember in middle school computer class everyone was like how tf lmao.

 

Nothing but bad habits, quite frankly

 

Good question, at first I didn't think there was anything, buttttt, I think it increased my level of patience.
Grinds require time which you can't go around if you want to accomplish those goals.

 

Typing, Communicating with others from professional way.
Creating discords/managing them. Different cultures via discord voice.

 

This is so accurate. My typing speed got to about 100+ WPM lol

 

probably money management and typing skills

 

^ typing skills for sure, I was also able to type faster and more accrurate then anyone in my classes growing up, now I can do about 115-120 WPM accurately

 

Dont trust anonymous people that easily, and pretty much my English is all learned from RuneScape!

 

Definitely has taught me patience and dedication. OSRS isn't something you can pick up and speed run in a day or two. It takes time.
