    Yes, but as they have been used for a while, means that they are getting weaker over time. And yes, you are right about items being used are not nessicerilly guaranteed to not work. But buying from a store is better. I don't see why you think that a used item has a better chance of working than a brand new one. The used item has been worn out over time, meanwhile the new one can be brought back if it does not work, and exchanged for a working one that has not bee worn out.

    Consider this a bump, I just wanted to add my oppinion on the new and used dillema.

    please post the type of memory and speed of it.
    or atleast the laptop model it came out of, which is found on the sticker underneath the keyboard. (not just vaio)
