Mains in the Pures Section -.-

There is an obvious demand for pures, therefore people with shitty mains that happen to have 70 def for example, will post saying it's a barrows pure. This causes any thread created to get thrown off the front page in a matter of minutes. It's not fair to the sellers and the buyers, and I think there should be restrictions defined as to "what a pure is".

62 def is not a 'drag pure', something needs to be done.

 

they do it because nobody wants their shitty accounts so they post in a popular forum with a fake name... there should be warnings then infractions for doing this multiple times

I really agree on this! Not everything is a pure! I made a thread requesting guidelines so people would stop calling all their crap characters "Pures"..

And also, i dont think it should be Barrows pures, since theyre not pure, they should be called Barrows Pker instead.. and same goes for DFS pure.. -.-

 

definitely. People just need to live with the fact that no one wants their crap ass main, either because it just sucks/over-priced/or another account much better than your account is up for sale, for the same price, which will probably be put up by a scammer, but nonetheless, there will be idiots who think it won't be a scammer, and pay much less attention to your account.

IF NO ONE WANTS YOUR MAIN ON THE MAIN ACCS PAGE, NO ONE WANTS IT IN THE "PURES" PAGE.

Yeah agreed on this higher...If you call it a Barrows pure...then its most likely the equivalent of a main. but still not pure because it could be used for numerous things, unlike strength pures etc

 

Plus it would help balance out the forums

but if u have 70 def,99atk,99str, that is considered a barrows pure.
If ur 40-45 def that is considered a rune pure,i agree that people with like 81 def cant post in the pure section but some mains are still pures

 

Your right.. But alot of members post random accounts that dont belong there. Like maxed mains etc.

 

with many varied opinions, I don't think it can really be 100% agreed upon what is and isn't a pure. Some people believe you are ONLY pure if you have 1 defense. Many would disagree to that, Including myself. The line is so blurry on between what defined a "pure" or a "tank". When you get people with 20 defense calling themselves Initiate Pures, or 40 defense calling themselves rune pures, or even 45 defense calling themselves Zerker Pures.

In order for your complaint to hold water, and promote change within the forum, you need to comb out the blurry lines (which is impossible) on exactly what is and isn't a pure. The fact that people acknowledge a high level with 90+ strength and 70 defense as a "Barrows" pure makes it legitimate, whether you like it or not.

Sure, a tanker with 70 defense may not be considered "Pure" but it IS however, recognized as an effective way to PvP, and THAT is what people care about.

I actually think its quite simple.. The best pure clans has a max of 20 defence.. so, a pure is 1-20 defence, and from then on, we should call it PKERS! A rune pker, a barrows pker, a dfs pker.. the word pure fits so bad on a character wich is impure.. -.-

A tank and a pure are 2 different things, actually, theyre opposites..

 

I don't support this. It's nearly impossible to enforce something such as this. There are already sticky explaining where specific accounts and people just do not choose to read them.

On your post: Why shouldn't a barrows 'pure' be considered a 'pure'? I mean, there are thousands of different definitions of the type 'pure'. Even if you did break it up, you'd just have more sub-sections that very few people would ever venture into, causing more chaos.

I will meet you halfway and agree on the post of mains and stupid accounts however as pures.
