Congratulations. Correct me if I'm wrong, but pre-paid credit cards have someone's personal information on them and if they are misused, the person who bought them gets screwed over twice since the person can over-use it and since the purchaser is not allowed to resell them.

If I am wrong, which I doubt because even eBay has banned the sale of pre-paid CC's, I'll sell you two pre-paid American Expresses. I have one 40 and one 10, will that work?

Edit: Also, how did you instantly buy it from Triplem? The trading of codes isn't allowed in this section last I checked.

Actually all i said on SYTHE was twc guys.. which is not infractable. Me accusing you on msn is totally different good luck though

 

Are you absolutely sure? Why does eBay prohibit the sale of them, and on some (or all) it says prohibited to resell.

 

All you do is purchase them and they are usable you do not need to fill out any info. And i am not completely sure on that and why they would not be.

 

Okay, let me explain.

Let's say some guy goes to a store and buys a pre-paid credit card, and based on what you said, provides no identity. Then he goes and uses it on iTunes and buys a shitload of stuff (with the glitch thingy, not sure if it still works) and over-uses the card. iTunes gets screwed over.

Now, let's use my logic/knowledge. The guy has to give information to buy the pre-paid CC. He does the same thing, and then he receives a letter or something to his house saying he has to pay the rest or actions will be taken, blah blah. Also, when my dad got it, he had to provide information.

 

Actually my friend has done that and all they do is lock your itunes (you cant use your itunes) unless you pay the fee's. You also cannot call and chargeback on a giftcard(meaning call the company, not contacting paypal)

 

Okay, well the iTunes thing was an example which I have never tried. I'm just trying to say people can do shit with a prepaid CC which is why I think it is registered to a certain identity. I'm not too sure how it all works out, but like I said, my dad got two, and it says do not resell, and he also had to provide information such as address.

I may be wrong. If I am wrong, can someone explain to me why it says prohibited to resell on mine, and why you can't sell them on eBay?

 

OWNERSHIP AND USE OF THE CARD

The Card is and will remain our property. However, you will be solely and completely responsible for the possession, use and control of the Card. You must surrender the Card to us immediately upon request. The Card may not be used for any illegal transactions or purposes. If you authorize another person to use the Card you agree, to the extent permitted by law, that you will be liable for all transactions arising from use of the Card by such person.
To use the Card, simply present the Card at the time of payment, and sign the receipt with the same signature you used when you signed the Card. You may wish to retain the receipt as a record of the transaction. As you use the Card, the Card's Balance will be reduced by the full amount of each purchase including taxes, charges and other fees, if any. The Card can be used to pay the full amount of the purchase and applicable taxes, so long as the Balance remaining on the Card is sufficient. If you want to make a purchase for an amount greater than the remaining Balance, you must notify the merchant before completing the transaction.

The Card has no value until it is (i) activated by the cashier at the time of purchase
