How they scammed: Chargeback

Explanation of the trade: I sold him an ironman for two installments of $500 USD, the same day I provided the information to the account he had attempted to chargeback $500. (I was not aware of this chargeback attempt for quite awhile - I never received an email notification and I don't use PayPal often.

After the excuses, discussing I will take the account back: Note at the bottom I offer to help him create an ironman from scratch with the $500, this was prior to me knowing about the chargeback attempt. https://i.imgur.com/Ulht41u.png

In the meantime while I still wasn't aware of this chargeback attempt, he delayed paying me the "second installment". as seen above.

Eventually I was made aware of the chargeback and it closed in my favor.

The reason I waited so long to even ask is because I didn't lose the money and I've previously done a lot of business with this guy, he's purchased 5 capes from me in the past. so I wasn't sure what course of action was necessary.

Still trying to get his money back, am I good to keep it? Thanks.
