The man served his debt to society. I'm in no way condoning what he did, but he paid the time for his actions. He has as much of a right to play in the NFL as anyone else. The Eagles have taken the gamble, that his play will cover his "baggage" he brings along.

I personally think it'll be a good fight, because of the supporting staff and players. The Eagles knew what they were getting into. Let's face is PETA is too critical, and will protest anything (hint Obama's fly swatting). The Eagles feel that they can take the public image hit because of the loyal fan base.

All we can say is time will tell. I want to see him tear it up in the NFL and make a good change.
