Melee tanker Stats

I'm making a melee tanker, As that would i need like mage or something, or range, cause this is my first tanker pure, and im trying to make it good its going to be a rune pure so the stats would be 40 attack 75+ str 40 def 1 mage 1 range...or would i get mage and range up? its a f2p pure

 

truthfully, nobody wants to fight a rune pure in f2p but yeah it should be 40 def (with dragon slayer done) , 40 attack, 70+ str, 60+ range

 

Lyrical. Rune pures are what f2p is about now. You cant own high elvels without full rune now.

 

So like Without range or mage its not a good pure, or do i have to level it?

 

Just get 37 mage to teleport around runescape. That's about it maybe 40 range for d hide chaps and body if your pking in deep wild.

 

If you only plan to melee then no you don't need to train range or mage for it to be good lol, but it'l help if you have the mage level to teleport to all the f2p cities.

 

Good fights in high levels consist of monk robes

 

Make sure to get your defence QUESTED!!! that means never train defence, train defence with the experience you get in quests

 

Yup, I haven't fought anyone in rune or even seen anyone in rune except for idiot pjers.

This from over a month of bhing on my maxed rune pure and 70 def pure.

 

f2p pking is garbage if you dont no arm. i'd get range too because its useful for multi.
