How is the 76k trick done?

Just got back into this cursed game; noticed every doesn't suck as much as it did about a year ago.

Anyway, I've noticed all this 26k/76k trick thing being talking about with partners and stuff but what I don't get is how any of this works at all.
I've done some google searches and checked out the website. Even after all this I'm still noticing a lack of thorough explanation.

Sooo.. basically I need a few questions answered:

1)What is the 76k trick?

2)How is it done?

3)What the hell is EP? And how does it affect the trick?

4)Are you actually getting the 76k or not?

5)Is this an effective way to transfer GP?

6)Is this an effective way to earn GP?
and last...
7)Can you get banned for doing it?

Okay i had the same confusion at first so ill try to explain it as simply as i can.

1) What is the 76k trick?
Basically, When your fighting in a P2P world in order to get a decent drop you must be risking 76k or more and the person you kill must have 76k or more. So if you PK someone with 76k or more on them and YOU have 76k or more on you when you kill them you get a good drop. So you try to trick the system, by having a partner get 76k and you get 76k and kill them and get a drop like 300k+, then you repeat it except you let him kill you so he gets a good drop.( Some can be up to 5mil) and you keep repeating this and you get a ton of cash.

That answers your first 2 questions

Now EP. EP stands for Earning Potential. The higher your EP percent the chances of getting a higher drop when 76k'ing. you can see your EP percentage next on the side of the screen. To get EP you must be risking 76k or more in a hotzone. you get 25% every 30 minutes or something like that.

It can be a effective way to transfer GP but you might get bad drops like 40k drops or sometimes really shitty drops like steel skirts.

also here it CAN be a good way to earn money but again you may get crap drops.

jagex says u can banned for it but 3/4 of RS does it so i dont think you'll get banned.

WARNINGS: You may get scammed if you let someone kill you first they will run off with there good drop and you just lost 76k.

26'king is just the f2p version of it. just change all the "76k" words to "26k" its the same except a different value.
