Everybody's First encounter with a pure, must read.

This was a similar recount to my first encounter with a pure in about 2005.




You’re on your main account.

You are an average lvl 80, with full rune and a Rune Scimitar.
You get bored of training one day, and decide to venture into the wilderness, for a change of pace.


Out of nowhere, a level 66 in monk robes approaches you.
“Lol” you think to yourself, he doesn’t look very dangerous.
He asks you, “Hey wanna fight?” “Sure, why not?” you say.
“Ok” he says.


He then pulls out a rune scimitar, and so do you.
The lvl 66 puts his hand to his mouth, and then attacks you. 24. How the?!??


You quickly eat a swordfish, healing 14 damage.
He attacks again, 20.
You quickly devour another swordfish.
He hits you for a third time.
This happens a few times and your thinking "wtf a hack?".
He only has to crush his rune 2hander on top of your head once though, for you have very little hp left.
He kills you with another 16.


WHAT THE!! “Gf” he says as you fall to the floor.
How did that happen??
You add him and say, “wow whats your strength level?” “ 94” He replies. “Omg how?”
“I uhh, train it a lot, lol”
You stare at the screen blankly. How could this guy, a level 66, have 94 strength??
You are level 80 and your strength is only level 65.
“Yes, I know, but how such high str at lvl 66” you reply
He Reply's “Oh…yeah, Im a pure.”



That is what many players first encounters with pures look like.

 

Nope, mine was quite nice actually. I still talk to him.

 

No I knew about pures first time I knew about RS. And btw I hope you aren't claiming to have written this, this was posted on the official RS forums in a str pure guide ages ago.

 

I knew about pures but here's the first time I fought one.

I was killing green drag farmers with my friend as this pure with 80 mage comes along, I start chatting with her for a while, then the level 66 came and killed her. Then he attacked me.

 

I was a member at level 80, and I had full torags, if I went pking I would use monkfish or shark, and prayer protect..
I was actually smart at level 80... I also had 2 99 stat's at that level.

 

Mine was kind of the same but the guy just jumped out from nowhere like a ninja.

I just ate lobsters till i died

 

I believe my first was, i was running around at Castle, as a little main nub, around level 70 or so, and this guy in zammy robes and magic bow runs after me, teleblocked me, and keeps ranging me for 20+.. spamming entangle, i just kept running and running towards fally, but he got me eventually, and i was pissed.. Now im that guy!

 

Mine was getting lured. I was level 53, he was 54 with 99 range. I walked into wildy, got blitzed and he started to MSB me 20s (this was before d bow came out). Anyways I managed to run out of wildy (no ditch) with about 3hp left. That's when I googled runescape pure (oh, the shame) and made one. Then i started to lure. I gotta give that kid some thanks, he made me millions

 

somehwere in 2005 or 2006 i went to wild with my friend and there was a clan of like 4 pures and we took like 2 down then later 2 of the other ones were owning so we just ran into trees and they got stuck

hahahahah that made me laugh my ass off! how u ddsed him out!

 

Ou don't just walk to the wildy any more...

 

I was probably like level 20 5-6 years ago and went to the wild and got killed by someone my level... rather quickly.
After that I logged off and told my friend, that's how I learned and I quit the main and just made a pure because it interested me

 

friend told me about them, i also had a team of lvl 20 mage pures back then too.

 

In my whole runescape career , I've never had a main and the only type of accounts that I made were pures.

 

Mine was when I was on my main and went into the wildy.. (like 5 years ago)
I was level 60 and met a level 50 mage along the way.. he started talking to me and tried to lure..... since i didn't go with him he entangled me and started doing sara strike until i died...

 

Lol like 4 years ago in f2p on my nub main i was in rune, whent to varrock multi and some guy in monk robes hit a 20 on me, i was like "omfg wtf haxor##@@#3" teled.

 

I actually made a pure, 1 defence straight away.

 

lol... this was pretty much taken right of the runehq.com pure guide... and my first pure was when i was a noob, he was a mith pure it was back in 2003 or something when it wasn't very popular

 

Hmmm... my first encounter, back in 2005 I was like level 20, I got pwned by some mage pures and quit runescape lol. Came back 2 days later and trained my mage

 

i was level 60 and fought another 60 he 20 i was like wtf i hate my main so i trained a pure =)

 

My first encounter was probably with one of the top pures of runescape. I was chilling @ Easts in mystic, black dhide, and sara strike, killing skulled drag killers. 0mfg0rz (Was an amazing pure) came and asked me to fight. After the first 32 with a d scim, I was running. I made it to 5 wildy, he ice barraged me. I tanked him out, out of the wildy. We ended up becoming cool with eachother and I occasionally tbed for him.

I was level like 74 at the time. Partially pure.
