As dumb as this may sound, i really liked "A Tale of Two Cities," by Dickens. That is the one and only book I've ever been forced to read and actually enjoyed it.

Not much of a fiction reader..

Uhm going off the top of my head:

    • We Were There
    • Chasing Ghosts
    • Shooter (not the movie)
    • The Last True Story I'll Ever Tell
      [*]Last Man Down

Last Man Down was pretty cool, it was about a firefighter from 9\11.

    Oh god, where to begin.

The Hobbit. I loved it, far more than the LotR series, I wouldn't even hold them in the same vein.

Interview With a Vampire. Brilliant book, the trilogy is great. The original movie with Pitt and Cruise is also quite good, but that's only because Anne Rice, the author wrote the screenplay. The other adoptions of the books "Queen of the Damned" are absolute shit.

Uglies. I know it's a bit 'teen' but it's a wonderful escape kind of trilogy. The storyline fully absorbs you in the surreal, wacky futuristic world, I recommend it to anyone who has a strong fantasy... it just jumps out of the page for me.

To Kill a Mockingbird. I usually avoid mentioning the typical "BEST BOOKS OF ALL TIME OLLOLOLOL OMG" but I love this to pieces, wonderful story and brilliantly told.

So many more that I love... Clockwork Orange, Lord of the Flies, Clan of the Cave Bears, etc.

Uhm, I've read a few best-books-ever. IMO, "Gone" by Michael Grant is the best book I've ever read. Read it. Before you are deprived of teen fictiony goodness.

    Best book you ever read?

At the risk of sounding "nerdy", my favorite book is "Brisingr". Great book. I've loved the whole Inheritance Cycle and dearly await the final book.

I heard those were great books. I've never read them, but I might do it over the next few weeks if I can get my hand on one.
