The answer is no it does not take more if you know what your doing.
I've done monkey madness more then 7 times now it takes about 50-70 minutes.
The grand tree and tree gnome village take 25-30 minutes.
Fremmy trials is about 40-50 minutes.

Assuming I take the max time for each quest, That's only 2 and a half hours.
So if I add the time in for gathering supplies and traveling in between quest locations, it's about 3 hours.
