Explanation of the trade: I have a thread selling a OSRS account, icecube reached out over Discord to use a MM to make the trade happen.

He had the other account impersonate PvM Services Niki

In a different thread icecube was talking to the real .niki and had him retrieve my sythe PM verification code, icecube then gave it the fake .niki and he sent to me (making it seem very legit).

I sent over the account details and he set up authentication on the account, no registered email so the account is gone imo.

If you don't know how to do that, go to your discord settings, click advanced, turn on developer mode. Right click IANVS discord name and click copy id. Then paste that 18 digit UID here.

Hey all,

As said before, it was a man in the middle scam and i'd like to give scammed amount (35m) back to @JPHamlett93 in whatever payment method he prefers. (OSRS, PayPal, Crypto, Skrill)

If i didnt have a peanut brain it would have been preventable, but i was stressed at that time and did not think about the outcome of the conversation i had with icecube#3564.

Basically, icecube#3564 approached me via Discord pm to buy a name and wanted me to confirm the message he is going to send me on sythe to confirm it is the right person he is talking to. He wanted me to take a screenshot of the inbox and send it to him.

So i followed it (see picture below) and i did not think about what direction it could take.

Well, after some time, @JPHamlett93 pmed me again on sythe asking to remove authenticator off his account and at first i was thinking he was trolling. I invited him to our gold selling discord ZooGold to speak and clarify the situation. We found out what happened and realized very quick that both of us got played. I think Hamlett does not know how to check Discord UIDs and ill explain it to him later on, to prevent something like this in the future.

Anyways, i will try to learn from this mistake and i will not let it happen again.

I have checked all the uid's and id's of both these Discords and unfortunately they don't link to any Sythe accounts. Thank you for the report and bringing it to our attentions.
