You banned me for advertising?

I was giving out invites to a website named Lockerz, which you need a invite to get in, yet I see another thread from a person named 'nameless' and hes doing the same and hes not banned?

Unfair, racism, discrimination much?

The rule is this
- *Advertising: posting threads advertising sites - only allowed in personal signatures, advertising a business website (goldfarm sites) are not allowed in signatures or anywhere on the site unless you pay for a link. Email [email protected] if you want to purchase a link.

It says the consequence is a one month ban.

I don't think you deserve a one month ban for offering invites to a site. An infraction maybe, since it's probably a referral thing, but not a temp ban.

I'm not going to override Megamatt though, so you'll have to wait for him to post.

 

1. If you already saw someone post a thread offering invites, posting another was spam.
2. You posted the thread twice (one in off topic and the other in SFA) before you were banned; flooding to advertise a site is not allowed.
3. The invites are just a referral scheme. It was advertising, as you weren't recommending the site for the sake of the content - you just wanted the benefits of giving out the referrals.

I'll reverse the ban and infract twice for referrals.
