How can I tell if i being scammed

Hi Sythe,


I went to buy an account from someone on here through discord, and i sent BTC to the address they gave me. It shows confirmed on my end, but they say that it shows it being withdrawn & sent at same time and is concerned i am trying to scam. this is the exact message they sent trying to explain.

People have their ways of sending and withdrawing at the same time, as far as i know, only happened twice to me, this way it shows up that the person on the receiving end (me now) gets the crypto but as seen in the screenshot where it withdraws and sends the same amount, both show as confirmed. Only thing we can do now is wait it out don't want to accuse you of anything but not taking any risks either

Im so confused because i sent it, and i sent screenshots of it showing confirmed on my end. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

@Zora i appreciate you more then words can explain. Thank you

 

@WinningGram it's possible the seller needs to be better educated on how Bitcoin works - maybe involve a trusted third party from Sythe (plenty of free MM's that would have that conversation with you guys)

Aside from that, @Zora gave excellent advice and I'd continue that path if he has blocked you or is unwilling to find a way to proceed.
