Windows Vista Customization I

Hello, and welcome to my first guide. I am going to teach you a few little tricks on how to customize your windows vista experience. Please enjoy the guide.

Step 1: Go to your desktop, and right click. A drop-down menu will appear, select 'Personalize'.



Step 2: A window will pop-up, with an array of different things to do. In this section, we're going to cover Window Color and Appearance, and Desktop Backgrounds.



Step 3: Select Window Color and Appearance. You will be taken to a screen that should look like this:



This is where you can mess with the color and appearance of your windows. You can select from a multitude of preset colors*, change their intensity**, and create your own colors with the color mixer***. To finalize all changes, press OK.



Step 4: Now, we're back at our starting screen. Select "Desktop Background".
You will be taken to a screen that should look like this:




Step 5: You can do several things at this screen. You can change the picture location, accessing different picture folders, you can select the picture's positioning, you can change the background color, and you can even upload a picture saved on your computer as your background.




To finalize any changes, press OK.
