ok i really need help i have been trying to make a server forever and i am wondering why doesnt project 16 work and can u like give me a more simpler way of doing this cause i am new at coding and all and this confuses the hell out of me i am stuck on part I will include these sources:

no its not like that at all my man its like a private server u cant play on ure real runescape account u can play on a fake one and do dumb stuff lol

 

can u pls help me? i did tat and then after i was all done. i decided to do it on mmy friends computer but after i did wat u told me. my cmd wont recognize commands such as ipconfig /all, ipconfig etc. wat could i do?

if you didnt get a client.java only thing i can think that it wasnt a 317 you downloaded maybe :S? just download a different source


nice guide although pics would make it much more interesting i didnt bother reading in depth but seems decent enough, if peopl cant do it from this guide there is no point in them making a server

 

hey umm ive made a couple private servers and i waz jest wonderin how to make like an item that give u like plus 10000 in all stats like an admin weapon. almost all servers have one, and i wanna pk people with it . also , how do u make custom items. some servers have like yellow gses and blue bandos. thx for the help. idk if it matters but my server is allstar based.

Hello everyone. I have a few problems and a few solutions.

Problems:

When i have changed everything to my servername in that JAVA file, nothing happens! I saved from Cheezscape to Tottalex wich is going to be my server, but it still say Cheezscape when i log into the server!

My other problem is the :ickup command. I changed my rights to 3, wich means Owner. But when i for example going to :ickup a whip in my bag ( :ickup 4150 1 ) nothing happens! Really need help with this.

Solutions.

For everyone who has problems to connecting to your own server ( not Moparscape, ect. ) you have to compile the run&compile file, not the other ones! I had problems with this. So my compile code will be this:

Notice the "C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_14\bin\javac.exe" -cp . *.java.
The jdk1.6.0_14 means that i have JDK 1.6.0 update 14. This code was diffrent before, but you have to change it to your version. To check this you simply go the the Java folder and look at the JDK folder name, and it should say something like that. You should often visit Java for newer updates .

Hey, hopefully this will help so... Here it goes.
(Sorry that I couldn't upload any pictures, I don't have PAINT on my computer and I really cbf downloading anything like that...)

1) Click your Start button, which can be found on the very bottom right of your computer screen.

2) Click on Run, which can be found at the bottom right section in the Start interface.

3) Type in "Cmd" (With no speech-marks")

4) A Box will come up, saying Your computer type, date made, model etc. Under that writing it will say "C:/Documents and Settings/Administrator".
Type in "Ipconfig" all in one word, but with no speech-marks.

5) It should say a list saying something like;
IP Adress: 0.000.000.0 (Example of numbers, yours will come up different)
IP Mask: 0.000.000.0 (Example of numbers, yours will come up different)
Default Gateway: 0.000.000.0 (Example of numbers, yours will come up different)

6) Put in the numbers you see as the default gateway, in the Port-Forwarding section.

7) Finished!

Ok. I have my source and I have my Hamachi that runs on MoparScape. Now how do I edit my server and change things? Whenever I try to edit things in my source, nothing happens. Is that source REALLY connected to my server? Or is it just a meaningless file? Please help me if possible
