80 gig non reliable? Wtf are you on crack? The new models are no different from each other except the size of the HDD. Dont start throwing out made up facts when you have no idea what your talking about.

All new models do not play PS2 games. Dont bother with getting anything over 80 gigs though tbh. You may think its not a lot of space but it is...I have a crap load of music and several videos dled on mine...along with the software of 13 games AND a few demos+a full game AND 10 gigs partitioned for xubuntu. Right now I got 18 gigs left...which is a lot. If you plan on turning it into a massive multi media center then simply buy an 250 gig external for $60 or if you decide 80 isnt enough and you would rather not having an external then simply upgrade the HDD to a max of 750 gigs. The PS3 can handle ANY 2.5 inch HDD...aka lap top hard drives.

You can play any PS1 game on a PS3. If you want to play PS2 games then get the ones compatible with backwards compatibility. Finding one new is REALLY hard though. Only ones being sold are used/refurbished. Also the software crash thing...what? The 360 has a higher fail rate than the PS3...just wanted to throw that out their lol.

A new PS3 comes with only one controller. Also no...not possible to pirate PS3 games...YET.

I heard that its software gets broken or crashed SO FAST? Not true. It won't even scratch your games.
Can we download games from the internet , copy to a DVD disk then play it in my ps3? No, your thinking modding and such, it's IMPOSSIBLE on the PS3 and they have some kind of lock on the disc drive. This was proven on qj.net
What is the best so far .. 40,60,80 Giga? Edit: And is there 100,120,160 Gigas? I bought an 80gb, because i didn't want too much space as i wouldn't be needing it all. Here in Canada they don't have the 40/60/100/120 anymore.
Could I play ps2 , ps1 games on it ? Ps2 games yes, ps1 i'm not sure yet need to find one and try it, but google that.
Will I get 2 controllers when i buy? Only one controller comes with a system.


I just bought mine 3 days ago, and i have all 3 systems (wii, 360, ps3) and trust me you won't regret getting a ps3. It will be even more amazing if you have a good t.v. Good luck

IT DOES NOT WORK. YOU CAN NOT PLAY PS2 GAMES ON THE NEW MODELS. The only PS3s you can play PS2 games on are the older 60 gig and 20 gig models. Hell I think the 20 gig are Japanese only. Not sure though...

Anyways yea stop feeding this dude bull shit about PS2 games working.

Also PS1 games will play on EVERY PS3. The reason PS2 games no longer work on the newer models is because they removed the Emotion Chip that allows you to play PS2 games. They removed it so they could lower the prices of the systems.

Ok looks like ya want a ps3 bad, I have one.Not selling btw but i will awnser all your questions. Theres nothing wrong with the software running or crashing don't know were you got that from. Well we can't yet, were trying to and it wont be a mod chip because we can put custom firmware this time around and put ISO on the system, so not at this time but soon, I have found and exploit in the system but im not saying what it is yet (I know this all because I'm a modder/hacker ) Well the best PS3 out there is a 60 gb they are they best they can play all PS2 games and have 4 USB ports, these are not sold anymore but you can get them used but they are more expensive then the 160gig new and about 1,200 New. The highest is a 160 gig but this month the PS3 slim comes out this month so I don't know what new gig might come. You can play all PS1 games on all systems but only the 20, 60, and origanel 80 can.
