well i don't know much about this shit but i'm assuming since there couldnt have just been nothing and all of the sudden there's matter which then evolves into the big bang theory but how could it just happen sometime's i think were just experiments you know,like how humans have ant farms maybe theres something watching us which is where god come's into to this is god a alien ? maybe and more likely is but you can't say anything because we'll never know for sure we can make all the theories we like were not getting a answer we might as well assume every theory contributes to the answer like saying part of a theory is correct.... well that's all i gotta say but i dont see the use in arguein shit when there's no proof of the big bang or proof of god.

 

I dont think we will ever figure it out. But if i had to pick, id say big bang, although i dont completely understand it...

- Where did all the matter come from? was it always here?

- Apparently, before the big bang, all the matter in the universe was packed into one infinitely small point, called "the singularity". This spot was infinitely dense. How could this be? how could it be INFINITELY dense?

Thinking about this stuff makes me appreciate things. ie: Im listening to a radio right now, and billions of tiny little particles are wiggling at the exactly frequency it requires to make something sound like someones voice. How fucking cool is that?

I think its pretty much agreed upon that scientifically, the big bang theory is one of the most plausible theories. As for religious fanatics... yeah...

If God made the big bang.. how was god made? or did he just poof out of nowhere.

 

To me, the matrix that holds everything together is God. So by my means, yes God does exist. You have to get out of the mind frame that god is some guy in the sky who decides if you go to hell or heaven, that's a fairy tale and can't account for all the different views of what god really is.

The Big Bang created the universe, if you believe that god created Adam and Eve 6000 years ago and that evolution isn't true then you are ignorant.

Science is certainly fallible to flaws. At least science actively seeks to fix and debunk them, unlike its religious counterparts.

Religions are just beleifs. There are many religions, that's because no religion has proof it is real. Sure, science is flawed sometimes. Religions are worse, they may all be wrong. That kid that was trolling, how do you know we have souls or spirits? There has never been a baby born with the necesary qualities to live, and died because he had no soul. On the list of things that something needs to live, a soul isn't one of them. Don't ask for the list, because they teach you it in school. If you didn't go to school, you are mal-educated and shouldn't be here.

You can't generalize all religions on the likes of Christianity. Christianity isn't a real religion, you can't just read a book and understand the meaning of life. Real religions involve tons of thinking and learning, not blind obedience to rules.

Religion is not bounded by scientific theory, the point is not to prove or to disprove, but to understand.

 

But if you understand what is disproven, what you understand is not true. Saying the point is not to prove or disprove is not a valid argument.

 

You aren't getting the point, and I'm not trying to argue with you. Religion is understanding the things that can't be proven or unproven by science. The meaning of life, the after life, all those things are outside of the scientific spectrum and can't be studied or observed.
