Thinking about getting into RS3 staking. What are the most important things to pay attention to?

If someone with more knowledge could give a brief explanation on the ”dangers” of RS3 staking, I’d appreciate it. Personally I’ve been only in the 07 staking scene when odds whoring was still possible (xing).

What are the most common scams? How to avoid them?

How is pid determined in a duel in RS3? Is it always random?

AFAIK - Pid in Rs3 can't be manipulated like it can in 07. Scams there are a shit ton.
1# - Runic Staff in Inventory (holds a spell that can block all damage (disruption shield))
2# - Blood/body/astral runes in inventory (same as above)
3# - rune pouch equipped (usually black - ammo slot / see above)
4# - abilities enabled scam - since polypore stakes are done in legacy mode, if they enable abilities they can crush you.
5# - summoning scam - they enable summoning and use a familiar to destroy you

everything else would apply to both OSRS and RS3 tbh - these are just the ones you may not recognize comign over from 07

 

its polypore staking in w54, always make sure to check their inventory as well as gear, most common scamms are using rune pouches or different staffs that can lower ur damage
