I admit though it was a bit funny but really it seemed annoying.

I dont see a point in arguing with Sythe how this didnt or did affect our rep, as it could affect us as guest viewing it would resconsider registering and becoming a contributing member.

No, they can't. Moderator logs, administrator logs, disputes, and contact with other moderators about an abusive staff member would lead to the corrupt staff member being banned. Relax.

 

There's nothing to joke around around with regarding corruption. >.< It can destroy an entire community if taken too far.

Both can be overcome, however, but it's still not something to laugh about.

Not exactly. If there was proof of someone scamming on the Sythe Staff and it wasn't posted, and then somehow a picture was released, what do you think would happen to the reputation of this website? Would not the opportunity of a Staff position be a joke?

He didn't see everyone. It's regarding those who do happen to come here for business, rather than any other website.

We already know who it was, and he has been/will be dealt with. It was none of our mods, just an issue of accidental permissions.

If the SL were airtight, the thread would be fine. But, when mod accounts get hacked, permissions are given by some error, or a mod leaks it to a friend, it gets out and this is what users do with it. That, more than anything, is why Sythe was mad at us for making the thread. If it wasn't this kid who leaked it, it would have been someone else.

I found the joke kinda funny, It made me pull an "O" face for a second until I realized Daily was just trollin.

 

The only people that could ever get that are people in the staff lounge. Whoever was the one who leaked it is the one to be at fault here. The majority of sythe is a bunch of 12 year olds crying about lost runescape gold and accounts who wouldn't realize this as trolling.

Was interesting to see all the mods who did post in it. I figured some of you would just because you like to have fun that way, but some took me by surprise. If it was all in good fun then let it be. Let's just hope it doesn't hurt Sythe's reputation.

Glad to see Sythe stepped up and didn't play along with the joke.

 

You still have a problem of leaking, and i hope you know that. You will never get rid of people leaking information, because you can never tell who does it. It could be the new member, it could be the oldest member. The need for importance is the greatest fault in humans.

Couldnt have a better owner tbh, i 100% agree that without the foundations of honest staff this site wouldn't have the success it does at present, so i can see why you would find something like this as not a joke because they are staff members and they should know better.
