Okay, if an account has ONE SET STAT leveled up (IE a PURE with 99 range, everything else is 1) it is a PURE.
If it has 2 stats or more leveled, it's a HYBRID (IE: Range mage, Range strength)

Pfft, not much of a big deal but technically. But really, I don't count mage. I usually only say if you have range+str then you're a hybrid. Because Mage is a given.

 

Erm.. First off, a hybrid is a type of pure. Anything with high stats, 1-20 defense is a pure.

PURE range would be ONLY range. ONLY Str/Attack. ONLY mage. l2dictionary.

Technically you Hybrid, your not "a" Hybrid.

I say if they favor one stat more than the others, they are a pure, regardless.

There is many cases throught runescape speak that are completely ignorant
to the dictionary.

I disagree with the creator of this thread. adding mage to a combat pure, not
increasing its combat, is like adding more pure water to pure water.
all it does is increase its volume, it still stays pure.
This does go against what the dictionary says, which is entirely my point.

so a pure in you mind would only have one stat raised in combat?
So that means all accs, besides hp pures, need to have 9-10 hp. Because leveling hp while training would made the account have more than 1 stat, making it a hybrid. According to your ideals, soul war, lamp, and pest control products are the only real pures. GF

 

A pure is 1-25 def if you count Infinity pures. If you use all 3 styles WHILE PKing, that's a hybrid.

 

That is a matter of opinion.

One might say that your definition applies to the context of pk'ing. If they use just 1 form of attacking, they are simply pure.

If they use two forms eg. range and mage or mage and melee, then they are using a hybrid technique of pking.


I call my account a ''pure" because i only use one specific style pk'ing, even though i have attack, strength, mage and range trained up.

 

I believe it matters on the style with which you actually PK with, you can have 99 range and str, but only use Range to pk with, how would that make one a hybrid?

 

I beleive a hybrid is any account who has equal combat levels i.e. if they have 99 range, 99 str and 50 att those would be equal levels, on the other hand, 94 range 94 mage are equal levels, hence a hybrid... and also hybrid is kinda the way you pk i don't consider str pures who get range for dhide hybrids...
