Price check on a maxed account (norm)

Hey guys,

Looking for a price check on a maxed 2277 account. Has inferno, a few skilling pets, lots of untradeables. 1 black mark for botting back in October. Has a name worth 250-500m+ (I don't know exact market value, but it's a pretty rare name)

I sold a 2k+ total account on here 2 years ago. I've seen the guy purchase bills on the account on sythe forum. He's never had a complain. After I sold the account, I realized that in my time of playing (on and off since 03/04) my lifetime dream was to max an account, so I started from scratch on my skiller. Part of my journey I was thinking about all of the exciting things I'd do post max. Once I finally maxed, I realized that was the end-game for me.

I don't have tons of vouches, as I don't do services, and whenever I buy gold or help out, I never ask for a vouch. I've been a trusted Sythe member for years.

P.S. I have over 1B gold on the account. I should probably sell that too right, or should I offer a discounted rate to whoever purchases the account?

 

around 1500$ (+ the price for the name if its worth something) for the account if u have reputation, could get up to 2k. not sure if price drops a bit since that blackmark.

 

maxed accounts alone usually go for around 2k usd, perhaps a bit more to very trusted individuals

id suggest selling the name beforehand, its unlikely the buyer will pay what the name is worth

You're going to struggle to get anywhere near it's value without reputation.
I see low reputation people selling these for $800 all the time. That said, most of those people are likely just recovering it later because they're dbags; but unfortunately, the point stands that the max they could sell it for was $800.

 

I would say around 1.5K but sell the name and gold before.

 

Thanks for the advice guys! I think I'll just go ahead and sell the gold and the name, since it wouldn't be fair to the buyer to have to pay more.

The biggest standing I have to offer is me being a long time sythe user, with a donor status, and having an account I sold like 2 years ago. I believe the user is still on sythe, and I believe he could vouch for me. The account was 2k total, and I've seen him around, purchasing tons of gold. He's never had one complaint since he purchased the account.

 

I mean personally, I would wait and see what the seller wants to do. Maybe it will even sway them to actually pay what the account is worth. However, as everyone else suggested, you would probably make more money, in the end, selling everything separately.
