Swapping 80 Gig Pal PlayStation 3 for 60 Gig[Swap]

Ive just realised I'm not getting the full gaming experience, and I have tons of ps2 games I mean tons 40+. Its bit stupid for Sony not to have included this in the bigger and so called better versions of the system.

The trade will be a Meet-Up. Hopefully in London as I don't expect you to come all the way to the South east. From the first of august I'm going on holiday for 2 weeks. But would like to get arrangements sorted.

Also if anyone knows a method of downloading the backward compatability software, please let me know asap.

As I'm lowering my Ram I would like the 60 Gig system to be in immaculate condition, supplied with box and all leads. I already Have controllers. Also supply 1 Pal(UK) game as that would pay for the Gap in the prices.

No Spam please post. * No need for Pics but we can do pictures on Web cam, but that would be unnecessary if the trade is Face-Face.

 

These days, the old 60gb models are worth more than the 80 gb models, because they have backwards compatibility. I doubt anyone would go through with this.

 

No they aint idiot don't spam my thread. The last time these were available they were just under the price of the 80 Gig's also they don't manufacture the 60 Gig anymore.

 

Just before you start calling him an idiot, for this above post, think again. He's right 60GB models are worth a considerable amount more then 80GB due to they have 4 USB ports/they're not made anymore and the fact they have backward compatibility. I think if you try most websites to look for 60GB models you'll find they're pretty expensive.

 

Pfft, people just getting ripped thinking its now rare to have a 60 Gig console. I'm just wait for the FW update, Sony already announced the emotion engine will be included in a FW update. But its Sony you never know when....

 

Why do you want one so badly then? You could just buy a PS2.

Are you daft? The 60GB backwards compatible is worth way more. Since when is 20GB of memory even worth anything these days?

You can pay for a hard drive upgrade any day. Go to the store, but a 160GB hard drive for less then 100 dollars and pop it into your PS3.

 

i'll give you a 40GB one and ill throw in GTA 5 for ur 80 GB?
