Then you guys might as well promote all sectionals to globals. So they can do more. What's the use of sectionals when you've got globals? ;) don't take offense to my questions btw sin666. I didn't mean to offend.

I'd just like to point out, that most mods can not answer reports in 30 seconds and be ready to go with the next one. 2 pages would take about an hour to do properly. One can't simply see a post and infract, it's necessary to see the back story behind it. Just thought I'd throw that in. For me, on a good day, I average about 3 reports in 5 minutes. It takes a while.

We're NOT REQUESTING a rank. We're NOT SUGGESTING more moderators.

To R33l's last post, every day, I go into the report a spammer section and look at some reports. I look at the thread where it was reported and I manage, on average, the time it would take me to reach a conclusion not much higher than your 3 in five minutes. I would call it about 3 and a half in five minutes.

    Read faster. ;).

Actually, you are. Asking for someone to take care of a section of the forum is the definition of moderator by vBulletin's standards. If they have the ability to lock/delete/move/etc threads, then they're mods.

    .. You're joking right.

    SPAM REMOVAL TEAM = MOD.

No use for minimods, us users report and mods infract accordingly.

    I completely agree.

    Here's how I see it:
    1. Moderators are "free" to do what they want
    2. They say they do it but they barely get them finished
    3. When you ask they say no. (refer to #1)
    4. When you suggest something like this they say no. (refer to #2)

I'm not blaming the moderators, but if they can't handle ALL of the threads in the spammer and scammer section then there should be re-enforcements. This will stop people from complaining, moderators from being annoyed, and will benefit the website critically.

Oh, by the way, stop bringing up the "members can't be trusted" bullshit. These people can be like mini-mods and can be selected by staff members. Moderators were once regular members too you know.

No shit, but there's not enough moderators to do the job.
They'd have to have absolutely no lives to get them all finished. (No offense :p)

Why don't you guys promote the regular mods to globals and set a requirement that they have to do at least 2 reports a day. It takes 5 minutes. Surely they can do that? o_O

If mods didn't post in every damn thread they closed in that section they'd get them done a hell of a lot quicker. I used to get like 5 pages done in an hour or so. :|

Hire sectionals specifically for the report a spammer/scammer boards.

Which is basically what this whole thread is about but they've made it sound complicated.

    But Verts, post count ++.

Also, it's easier to lock just ticking that box.

But verts, they mainly type the word done in the box. It takes maximum 5 seconds. And they click the box and its closed. Rather than to go to thread tools and do it. Maybe, we should have 2 sectionals just for the spammer forum? They'd be able to do the majority of the reports and not have to worry about moderating the forums.

Perhaps Sythe needs a few more Staff that are continually active on the Forums, and will actually use their Staff abilities to get something done in this company. With all the Mods that Sythe currently has, there's really no excuse for all the stuff to not be done.

You say that the Mods are busy cleaning up their sections and such, but all they really do is lock a few threads and archive them as needed. As they run across spam, they'll naturally infract it as well.

Yet, Globals don't have a Section. They can just infract spam as they see it if they feel like it, and lock those threads that really have no meaning to exist. There are some Globals that I'm fairly sure barely do anything, as I never even see them post on the website. They don't post, do reports, and are barley even seen online on this website.

Just promote a few people that would actually be active on this forum, or replace the Mods that are just being a cripple to the Sythe.org Staff.

I agree, I think the forums would be a lot more clean this way, and thered be less stress on the mods.

Inforcing this, is bascially saying your a new sectional, as you have permissions to infract other members, which makes you a moderator. D:

If you're accusing me of not doing spam reports correctly then you have been misinformed Robert, most of the reports come from the market and are simple post infractions such as "spam, flaming, accusing of scamming, etc." which can easily be identified in the reported post. There is no need for "back story" unless its a more serious report which rarely happens.

Not true at all, or at least not to me, I use an auto-form filler to already have the close thread after post checked and I just copy paste "Done, thanks" when I'm finished and click post reply which takes like 2 seconds at max. Its faster than me going to manage this thread then selecting close thread and then get redirected to the closed thread.

Im sorry but it seems your just in this thread to annoy..

This whole thread is about that but theres arguments going around on how we can solve this in various ways. So please read previous post carefully.

Im glad to see theres more who agree, one or two sectionals would do just fine.

Hopefully sythe will consider this suggestion soon.
