I BADLY want to buy ps3 but ....

I wanna buy a ps3 from any one here but I had few questions .
I heard that its software gets broken or crashed SO FAST?
Can we download games from the internet , copy to a DVD disk then play it in my ps3?
What is the best so far .. 40,60,80 Giga? Edit: And is there 100,120,160 Gigas?
Could I play ps2 , ps1 games on it ?
Will I get 2 controllers when i buy?
I live in Egypt(I have been told shippin US-EG is 20-25$) , how much is the shipping? And will u accept wiretransfare or WU ?

all i know is that you have to have your ps3 mod chipped before you can play games downloaded from the internet.

ok, i know that the shipping may cost a bit depending how fast you want it delivered.
All consoles are diffirent depending on how you treat them, for example ive had my xbox 360 since it came out and its completely fine, yet my friends lasted 2 weeks. same with PS3.
you can download games from the internet but as w3st side said, you have to get it chipped correctly. its also dangerous and you can get high priced fines sent to you .
80GB PS3 is meant to be the best, but it really depends on how much you wana play.
i think, note the i think... maybe you can play PS2 games on there, maybe even PS1? i dont know.
You would have to ask the seller about what will come with the console...

60 gb is good , but also 80 is , the software doesnt crash that easy , ive had mine for nearlly 2 years now , had nothing up with it , usual the ps3 sellers , sell with 1 control pad but maybe 2 , and shipping would be no problem added your msn

As far as I know, a PS3 cannot be modded or mod-chipped in any way at the moment. You could install Ubuntu onto the ps3 and work from there, but that would require a lot more effort and knowledge about linux etc.

 

I think there is 100 GB, 140 GB, 160 GB PS3's

 

Masterkiller is right, you can't mod or pirate games for the PS3 right now. You can install custom firmwares but none of them have the ability to play burnt games.

 

their are 20gig(not sold anymore) 40gig 60gig(stopped making) 80gig(non reliable) 120gig and 160gig

 

i have a ps3 and it comes with 1 controller (wireless) it can play ps2 games. the 60gb are the best as they are the fastest... the 80gb are second and so on... 60gb being the best because of the speed. I was told this at gamestop. for the best info visit your local gamestop or go to gamestop.com

 

Ok for one ps3 way better then Xbox 360
ps3, doesn't matter what Gig you have depends how many games you play.
it can play ps2 and ps1 games on aswell.
comes with 1 controller in it, but they not much expensive.
games arn't much either.
and I have had my ps3 for 2-4 years or so, nothing wrong with it...

Yes, I myself have my own PS3 and I do believe it cannot be Mod Chipped yet.

I myself have knowledge with Linux and may do that sometime.

you can simply buy a bigger hd. you can get a 500gb hd. all ps3 play ps1 games, only the 20gb,60gb and motorstorm special 80gbs play ps2. you should buy a 20 or 60gb and buy a huge hd for DLC. hope i helped
