Guide to getting those coppers Shining.

Hello and welcome to my guide to getting those 1pences and 2 pences shining.

What you need: A Container


Vinegar or an acidic solution


2p or 1p coins


boiled water.

What you do: You Boil the kettle, whilst its boiling throw the 2p or the 1p coins into a container with the vinegar, once the kettles boiled empty the water inside the kettle into the container, and leave the coins for 10 minutes.

Once you have waited 10 minutes you will go back to the coins and see them gleaming with a bright shine.

Cool guide. Would this work for any type of metal? I like shiny coins , but I live in the US, so I dunno if it'd work on our coins hah. I'm not even sure what I'd do with shiny coins, but hey, if I'm super bored...

 

You can also just drop pennies in a cup of coke and it will make them shine over night.

 

Dammit, I was going to say that! Lol, but it doesn't take a whole night. Usually 1 hour because of the acidity of the coke.

I'm not 100% sure if it works for every metal but copper would work.

 

id say 2/10 this must have taken you 5 minutes to make. Dosent go that much into detail.
