How do you think the Universe began?

    Like you said.
The Big bang Theory or God.

How do you think the Universe began?

Can you possibly expand on the idea? Add any more points?

How do you think the Universe began?

If you do believe in the Big Bang theory then where did all the "matter" or "particles" of stuff come from?
If you believe in evolution from a monkey than why are there still monkeys?
You see everyone who believes in that crap is blinded by the truth. There has to be something more that either A. created all the particles that counter reacted to ,well in your theory, form us.Or B. The almiighty God actually did create the Earth and everything that inhabits it.

My theory would be that this life as we know it was created by God. We all came from Adam and Eve. God created the Earth in 6 days. I believe after death there is life because once again there is no other explanation. Nothing is still something. =]

ok, as i was reading this i remembered 1 thing: Chicken or Egg? I bet you're thinking i'm crazy. What does this have to do with anything? You ask. Well, you either believe God created the Earth or the Big Bang created the universe. But no one said anything about how God created the universe, from my knowledge. So God created the Big Bang, God created Earth, or the Big Bang just happend.

As to how the Big Bang just happend, i know not.

I agree with your theory, but I have such a hard time believing how God could have always existed, but then I can't believe that the Big Bang atom always existed because things can't just always exist, it seems illogical. The beginning of the universe is a big ass mystery, but I believe that God created the universe in a scientific way.

How do you think the Universe began?

Well if something has always existed, why do you make it more complicated?
Correct me if I'm wrong but you are going from:
God which has always existed, created the universe

    Instead of:

    The universe has always existed.

How do you think the Universe began?

I myself have hopped on the BBT bandwagon, but I also go so far as to support the multiverse theory. I am currently pursuing a career in Astro-Physics, so hopefully I am to become enlightened more on the subject in the future, as it does interest me.

I have hand-picked some excerpts from Wikipedia [not the greatest source, but the best for quick reference]:

Now within the multiverse there are four levels. They are EXTREMELY complicated, with level IV seemingly designed just to make people feel stupid.

Here is the gist of each level:

Now all of this is *usually* based off of string theory, which states that at levels even lower than atoms, protons, neutrons, electrons, etc etc etc, there are small oscillating loops called "strings" that dictate everything that is and happens based off of the way they oscillate.

I know this sounds like a pipe-dream of some fired Physicist, but it does have some basis in fact, which I will scrounge around for in the morning when I'm not so tired. Anyway even at this rate it has more evidence than religion, so don't go badmouthing me just yet.

How do you think the Universe began?

lets try this: What if god is a being from another dimension which existed before our universe began, and created this dimension or somewhat and created the laws of physics we all know today (i don't think that the laws of physics applies everywhere, by the way.) and thus creating the star that's larger than a hyper-nova. If a hyper-nova isn't stable, then why would something larger than a hyper-nova be? Thus creating the big bang, because, buy theory, an exploding/imploding hyper-nova creates a gamma ray burst, where as something larger than a hyper-nova would create something larger than a grb.
[IMG]*By the way, if a grb was fired twords Earth 5,000 light years away, it would melt the Earth's surface.
Just think what that kind of power could do- create the big bang. Thus the creation of the universe, creating the things we see today:

How do you think the Universe began?

The big bang theory is widely accepted by scientists all around the world. Maybe God created the universe, but there isn't much proof that he did. ;)

How do you think the Universe began?

what i said was many theories, if you paid close attention.

1 was that god was a multi-dimensional being
2 creation of a larger-than-hypernova created the big bang
3 We are all going to die soon

How do you think the Universe began?

If God created the universe who created God or where did he come from?
IF hes from a different dimension, how was that dimension in existence ?
Everything leads back to the same question, how did it all start?

I read some books and all lot seemed to say we have made our mind think of everything having a beginning and an end, when in reality that isnt true. Personally this is illogical but made me think.

How do you think the Universe began?

You People are missing a big bit of common sense.
ARE YOU ALL TELLING ME THAT THE BIG BANG GAVE US LIVES?
DID THE BIG BANG GIVE US SPIRITS?
    NO. ITS GOD!
God made the big bang to create the universe possibly.
But He, God , is the one who made life possible on earth...
Or earth would just be like anyother planet with no life.
and dotn start bullshitting about UFOs and Aliens. If you do GTFO

How do you think the Universe began?

    What created Amino acids then?
    Nucleus.
    Who created Nucleus...God.
Also, you could have a born baby with amino acids and a nucleus...but dead...why cause he had no soul.
    Soul Comes From God.
We could keep asking questions...and the end result will be God.

Other planets were involved in the big bang. How come the moon doesnt have amino acids? see...
