[Discussion] Will the old RS ever come back?

It's just something I've been wondering lately, with PvP Worlds and such.

Do you ever think Jagex will remove all the anti-RWT shit and make Runescape the way it used to be?

Simple question, please discuss it.

 

I wish they would.
But Jagex are seriously stubborn, players rarely get a say on anything from past experience.

 

Yeah. I've just been thinking how awesome it would be if it ever came back. I'd trade all my mils to a new account i'd make and start luring again.

If JaGeX brought back RuneScape 2007 i'd probably orgasm.

Their profit wouldn't exactly skyrocket. A lot of people already came back when PVP came out..

 

I doubt it, i remembered they removed the "Rant " section on their forums. I was blown away when they did it because thats where people tell their side of the story and what isn't good for runescape and what the players like.

But it's back lol.

And if you ask them when they started, they'll say 08. There's so many idiots now of days, they won't believe you when you say you could attack anybody depending on what level of wilderness you're in on ANY worlds. Trust me, I encountered it the other day.

I loved it when it was falador park world 2. The players ran the prices, and overall it WAS in fact a better community.

I've thought of this too. I'm sure something would change if we had several hundred thousand player unsubscribe (I don't think playing in f2p worlds would kill anyone for a month).

But then, I thought, do I want it back? I don't think I do. Noobs have been given so much by the G.E. Merchant Clans are crazily rich. It wouldn't be the same. The game has been ruined forever.

 

I can guarantee that they won't do it. They've been working so hard to stop real world trading. It'd be pointless for them to come this far, and stop. I'm sorry, but its not going to happen

OT: I doubt they will.. Maybe as a last resort, but I honestly doubt it'll happen.

No, that would make all the updates after that a waste. If they were ever going to bring it back it's way too late.
