Whip+DFS or Rd?

I want to train my Attk and Def from about 70 to mid 90's.

What setup would I use Whip+DFS or Rune Defender?

My other gear will be bandos CP / Tassets, drag boots, barrows gloves, fire cape, nez helm, fury, berserker ring

 

Defender, you'l hit alot more often.

dfs, i use it with my whip.

it looks cool, best str bonus in the game for a shield, best def stats for a shield (full charged), and you can kbd (wyvrens and what not aswell) with it

or just get both rd's take like no time and people on sythe will get them for you for free

 

For training use a rune defender its much better for training.

 

....people look at the stats dfs completly wrecks rune defender quit telling him to use a rune defender if dfs clearly has better stats.

as long as you can afford dfs get it, its very useful for dragon hunting and it has the highest strength bonus in the game as shield.

 

Well, if money isn't an issue, but a set of guthans as it will save you A LOT of food. You should train through slayer that way you can make nothing but profits back. If you can afford a dfs, go for it. Every little bit of defence helps.

 

It beats it in defense and then 2+ in str. If you want to train faster use a defender it adds a lot to attack which the dfs doesn't.

 

depends on wat you plan to kill, if its like bandits, then defender (bandits dont hit hard). Anything that hits hard you should use a DFS

Rune defender obviously will get you hitting more, but you will also in return be hit way more.
