Slayer+Mage=???

Okay so I want to start training mage again and a buddy told me to start training slayer first and get a shit load of runes free so I went out and have gotten from slayer level 22-28 (easy as pie btw) and these are the runes I have collected so far:

I sold the like collection of 17 runes I had before embarking on this journey and was wondering if I should stick with it? Train slayer to 99 (or so) and get runes in the process for mage (not 99 but still some good training).

Opinions?

 

If you go for 99slayer you should expect enough cash to buy a ags+ bandos armour. You shouldn't solely do it for the runes. 85 slayer you can slay abby demons which drop whips that are 2m per. Remember its only about 10m+ for 99 mage if you alch.

 

If you pick up all of the good drops, not just runes, then you should have more than enough to train mage to 99. Or you could do Mage Training Arena and earn around 30m-ish on your way to 99.

 

Actually mill by alching from 55-99 and I'm not doing it solely for runes I'm picking up all the good drops (1k plus) and I'm just asking if it's a good way to get some runes.

Yes I'm picking up all drops that are 1k plus and how do you earn 30mil in the Mage Training Arena?

MTA is only about 20k Xp/Hr if your are doing it for the money, but you get 100k+ Gp an hour gain.

 

I did not ask for the amount of money per hour or exp. per hour I simply asked how it could be done. Could you answer that?

P.S. I'm tired and I get a bit cranky when I'm tired.

Personally dust devils gave me the most slayer profit, got two chains from them :]

 

ill be honest, its gonna take agggeeessss to get 99 mage from picking runes from slayer

 

You buy Infinity Items / Mage Book from the Mage Training Arena with the points you get, giving you a profit and decent exp in the process.
