Hmm, I think I'll give my input, cause that's what I generally do, badly.

Really, I have no clue who you are, but anywho:

Sin says if they serve their time, they should be given a second chance, or usually are, by her judgment. Right right, but the thing is, he didn't serve his time.

I'd say serving time would be, not being able to access the community, being shut off from us, and not entering.

Obviously, you can't make him completely unable to access the site, nor can you shut him off. BUT, you can find out if he's entered, which he did. Therefore, I would not consider him as having served his time, so a second chance should not be considered.

    1. TJ was just trolling, don't back him, btw ;).
    2. I served my time for ban evading a ban that honestly shouldn't have existed =/.

You're ok with an innocent main remaining in jail, just because he broke out?

Honestly, he should be let go because he should have never been in there in the first place >.>.

E: Also, make your judgment a rationalization, rather than a direct opinion ;).

"- Staff reserve the right to ban or infract for any unconscionable act. The above rules and associated punishments only apply when the staff can reasonably judge that a user does not deserve some other, perhaps more severe form of punishment for any unconscionable act they might make on the forums."

I think this comes into play here, maybe not, it's late, who cares.

A staff member decided that they no longer thought you deserved to be here, for whatever reason. (Although you seem pretty chill)

    *Mind fart*

Since this isn't a democracy here on Sythe, i'll use my own, more comical example.

A king orders a pizza from a fat Italian guy (Still following?), so the fat guy makes the pizza, but his special sauce makes the pizza come alive. And the pizza is oh-so rude, and not to mention, the pizza will never, ever die. So the king proceeds to put the pizza in jail, for being rude, obviously not illegal in, uhh.. uhh, Italy. So the pizza breaks out of jail, and roams about the city, causing no harm. Until the big bad king finds him, than he's put back in jail. The next tuesday, the king realizes that the pizza wasn't being rude at all, it was just a mis-understanding!

But, the pizza didn't follow the order that was given, so he remains in jail, for a long, long time.

Tell me, do YOU think the pizza should stay in jail? HMM! Do you?!

    I should be a writer.

Read it again. I'm not saying everyone deserves another chance - in fact, it's very rare that I grant the opportunity to re-serve a ban.

Furthermore, if you don't know him or what he did, how can you possibly prescribe a punishment? This debate is not over his original ban; on that, the staff has already voted to give him another chance - thus, he has nothing to 're-serve'. This debate is on whether the fact that he evaded his original ban should exclude him from being allowed back under any circumstance.

Many users have been given second chances, such as myself. Deacon served more than his time, and even though he ban evaded multiple times, he would make it obvious it was him. I don't think he ever had evil intentions.
