He was banned a while back by Finn for posting something in the General Discussion forum board, if I am not mistaken.

• It was regarding his 1,000th post, in which he mentioned something involving his genitalia. He said that he had it checked out, and it was fine.

I know for a fact that he means no harm, and I believe he deserves a second chance, just as Deacon.

An argument that may arise...

Truthfully, LNC only ban evaded once. All the other ban evaders were just friends posing to be him.
And didn't THE DEACON FROST ban evade? It was mainly for the congratulations of others, or for some input. A few times it wasn't that nice, but they both only mean good for the community.

Give him another chance. Free our LNC.

If he wants to dispute it, he can do so himself. There's no need for you, an ex mod, to be trying to bend the rules for someone. If he ban evaded, he ban evaded. You posting for him, making the issues seem smaller by using examples isn't doing him any justice.

My point being, you're an ex mod, and yet you're posting a dispute for someone who obviously broke multiple rules. You aren't going to do this and try to let him get away with it.

That's not clear, showing me you have no idea what you're talking about here. Can you please shoo and allow him to make his own dispute if he so chooses?

It's absolutely clear. I'm not going to say the words and then get banned myself.

 

You are trying to make it seem smaller. You aren't including details, so staff, such as myself, who may not know the situation, won't.

Of course it has something to do with it. Why would he ask you, not someone else, to post it for him? You're an ex mod, you can obviously try to smear the truth a bit, not include some details, and some staff won't really look into it. I'm not going to let that happen. As for him being banned by Finn, that was the offense at the time, after that, instead of trying to dispute it, like you are now, he did ban evade, breaking the rules. You trying to use the excuse that someone else ban evaded is quite frankly stupid. The other persons ban is nothing like this one, so don't associate the two. This person sent pornography out, as far as i know, using the forums. Got banned. Ban evaded. You posting it, and trying to make it look better, it just isn't working for me. Allow the user to post their own disputes, so there isn't a bias. You didn't even post all the details.

In an appeal, the offense must be described well, you failed to do that. I'm saying denied. He ban evaded, he sent out pornography. Now shoo.

Because I'm a friend of his, and I was going to do it for him before when I WAS a Moderator. The dispute never got approved, so I could do nothing about Finn's power abuse. Afterall, Finn DID search through all of LNC's posts just to find a reason to ban him, and did it WITHOUT giving a warning first, which lead to this.

If they wouldn't really look into it, then they would've obviously denied it ages ago. There was potential in this thread, and I've just been waiting for someone to post. And yes, I've seen about 4-5 Globals view this thread already.

No, he tried to dispute it, and it wasn't approved. Maybe Finn had something done with it. So, because you don't know anything regarding the situation, you didn't know that until now.

He actually did it over MSN to Finn. I remember it to, because Finn gave me the picture as well over MSN, laughing that he actually got LNC to give him a picture of his penis. He never posted it on the forums, from what I can remember. It was also put in the IRC at the time too, I think.

I asked David (LNC) about this.

That's not why he was banned intially. It was because Finn abused his power and searched through LNC's posts to ban him, without giving him a warning first.
And as for me "posting to try and make it look better", that's absolutely wrong.

He ban evaded once from my knowledge. Maybe twice? It's on his IP anyways, because he didn't use proxies. He didn't like to use proxies.

Oh, there's his thread now too.

And I believe you said it was infracted for 'Wrong Section Post'. Well, seems fitting, as he posted the thread in the General Discussion Forums.
He was never previously given a warning for 'Wrong Section Post'. Therefore, he was unfairly banned, as he was to be given a warning first.
And how you can argue it is 'Spam' and not 'Wrong Section Post' is invalid. Last I checked, the General Discussion forum board is not the Spam Forum.

 

I already discussed this with you on msn. I assume you haven't found a case where the ban evasion was extended rather than a perm slapped on?

Your last post was basically what you said to me, which i rebutted and your response was that people have just had an extension on their ban rather than a perm. Yet you can't find an example, and you ceased to respond there.

I used it as an argument because I thought I remembered a user that had it happen to them before, but then I thought it was a Moderator. That would be a completely different story then. And then, I was like, pretty sure that's never happened to a Moderator anyways.
