Regarding the Report a Spammer Section.

34 pages of Report a Spammer, get it right.

 

Useless? mate shutup. When i report somone it's on good grounds and i know its against the rules. So just shut up. No one cares for your opinion.

Maybe more of the globals could help with the RAS sections. :x

Report a Spammer and Report a Scammer always get really huge, but then the mods do them and it's all better. It's a continuous cycle that is always repeated, so I wouldn't worry too much about it.

 

That's not true at all.

Sectionals aren't supposed to do scam reports - they don't have the forum or ban permissions, and we prefer to wait until they've been on staff a bit longer before they answer them. Thus, apart from Report a Spammer, most of their work is hidden to normal users (infractions, moving threads, etc).

As for globals, there's plenty to do on the site beyond reports and disputes. Unless you can see the staff lounge, mod logs, etc, you cannot infer on the contributions of the rest of the staff.

 

then tell me this, does anyone come close to your mod logs per month? if this is not to be discussed, then i guess we (the sythe users) have to make assumptions based on what we see (disputes, reports, activity, etc.)

Mod logs aren't everything, they simply summarize a lot of what you cannot see or wouldn't notice - however, they exclude other important aspects of modding like infractions, the time spent on MSN dealing with member issues, suggestion/nomination contributions, etc.

But yes, there are mods with similar counts.

 

Would you care to show us what exactly the mods do around here or should we keep making our assumptions that nothing gets done because the reports made by the regular users of the site, the ones that keep this site active, are not being done. We our part to keep the site clean.

No, We shouldn't be aloud to go in the staff lounge or look at the mod logs unless your a mod. Maybe we should have dedicated mods JUST for the report a spammer/scammer.

 

My mod logs for last month were 643. Nobody will know what this means. Have fun.
