How to keep those pesky bugs away while camping/hanging outside.

Hi Sythe, it's Luke. This is my first guide I have written, which explains how to keep those pesky bugs away.

Have you ever been outdoors, when all of a sudden you start itching? Or you wake up the next morning, and you are covered in painful and annoying bug bites? This doesn't sound pleasant, does it. To avoid situations like these, please take some of your time to read my guide.

Alright, well first of all, there is no fool-proof method to keep bugs away completely, they will always be there whether we like it or not. However, we can do several things to make a huge difference in the population of bugs hovering around your body.

First Step: Use bugspray. To get a good quality bugspray, you must go to an outdoors store located in your town, such as Gander Mountain. You could also find some online, or recipes for creating your own bug spray. When selecting which bug spray, always check the ingredients located in the bug spray, because some contain ingredients harmful to humans.



Second Step: When outdoors, try not to get sweaty, or change out of your sweaty clothes. Although you may not be able to do this depending on your situation, bugs are attracted to sweat. Bugs are also attracted to perfume and strong deodorant such as axe.



Third and Final Step: When camping or spending time outside, location is key in reducing the amount of bugs that swarm you. Mosquitoes and other bugs breed and nest in swampy/watery places. So try and base your activities away from bogs, swamps, and standing water. This should help reduce the amount of bugs you have to deal with.



By following these simple steps, you are sure to greatly reduce the amount of bugs you encounter, and upon encounter, stop them from bothering you.

Add that you should spray listerene mouth wash around the area you will be at. Such as all over a pic-nic table or a tent.

 

Tip: If you want to join the education team, don't put this in your guides... It makes it sound like you're only posting these so you can try to make the team.

On the other hand, these can be some useful tips for beginning campers, yet, it's common knowledge. Try coming up with some more unique tips that people perhaps don't know, and could help them out.
