Some 4th of july photos I took

I woulda posted them earlier but I was banned, so here you go. I like how they turned out.

 

Woah some of these could make some really cool C4D's

 

I've been told that, and I don't mind if people make them in to c4ds.

 

Long exposure without a tripod usually ends up a disaster, as it doesn't just capture the light coming from the firework, but captures the smoke as well which makes the overall photographs look messy. I do like some of them though. If you ever plan on taking photos of fireworks/moving lights again with a slow shutter speed, use a tripod!

Edit: Yeah it was hard to stay still, mainly because ashes and debris were constantly falling on me

 

I'm sorry, but you obviously know NOTHING about gfx. First off photos don't make c4ds, people do. Obviously, if translated you were saying that they would make effects. Just learn what you say before you say it :noworry: .

As for the photos, some are very good and have good composition. I like them a lot, and hopefully in the not too distant future, you get out and photograph some more. I see you are from Kansas, and was wondering if you stayed here for the 4th or went somewhere else?

 

I'm from Missouri, but yeah I stayed here.

yeah ive never seen fireworks like these im from nebraska ours just mostly go out in a circle no squiggles like these :S

 

These ones went in circles too, it's just that T4ank's hand must have been shaking a little during the capturing of the images.

 

Yeah, I don't have steady hands to begin with, that and trying to dodge things=a lot of movement.

We just did it on our street. One of our neighbors gave us around 2-3 grand in fireworks for free and had probably 5 grand more at his house. It was crazy, but awesome.
