For firsts its quite good. You kind of use the same effect for all of the sigs tho. Mess around with photoshop a little more. Experiment :p
4/5 tho for a firsttimer. :) Good job.

    1/10. For beginners 5.5/10.

First off, you overwhore your sigs with the same effects, cut down on that. Second off all of your text is the same, mind downloading a font pack? Third, if you're going to use brushes, stick to vector or splatters. Grunge effects suck. You need to pick better renders and once you achieve a good level you'll most likely merge onto stocks.

Here are the things you should work on.

    -Blending
    -Effects
    -Brushes
    -TEXT
    -Flow.

Overall, I'm not saying you suck but as for now I'm giving you something called constructive criticism. I believe over time you will get better. Like me for instance, I started in December 07' and didn't start to get good until May 08'. If you are more consistent than me, I'd say you'll be able to get good by late September or maybe early October. Keep it up. ALSO, you need a good site for renders/stocks/AND tutorials. Check out planetrenders.net on their forums they have loads of free tutorials.

I have followed your instructions kinda ;P
I tried not "overwhoring" my brushes, and I do in fact have font packs lol :p its just I don't like them...

That was my result of trying to follow what you said..I tried at least eh? is this any better...?

I didn't use a massive amount of brushes on this one..and at Least I tried :)

Only thing I see that you should have done is made the text smaller and picked a better render placement. Otherwise, it's better  .

It is a nice start, first off as a beginner you don't know much, but here are some tips to enlighten you.

    1. Think small when it comes to canvas, smaller canvas sizers are ALWAYS better then bigger when it comes to signatures.
    2. Dont make brushes your effects, try to use multi color effects like C4DS and textures. Use brushes for the small things
    3. Make your lighting work towards your light source. Establish one source of light and make everything flow around it.
    4. Have fun and enjoy what you do.

my newest sig isn't the GREATEST, but in my own opinion, I like it..

See...I didn't use a shitload of brushes..And I have no damn idea how to use flow in my pictures...I guess? from what I'm hearing..but In all honesty...I like my signatures..I feel accomplished and for the first time in my life, my mom's proud of me! (Rofl, god I wish)
