How to change my IP to aviod getting banned.

Yesterday i was trying to change my ip so that i can bot and have a better chance to appeal it. i tried so many programs, can anyone provide tips? im on Windows and a laptop. thanks

It should. It searches for an available IP address, usually TOTALLY different, then it temporarily terminates yours and replaces it with the newly found one. You can access anything with a new IP address, and no-one would be the wiser. HideMyIP♥

 

i downloaded a trial of 'hide the ip 2009" and when i go to a site like "cmyip.com", it shows that i have a different ip, but when i log onto runescape it still shows my ip, no matter how many times i log off/on

i belive that jagex rips your ip from your cache to stop this from happening.

 

Nope i think that your just changing the static ip they check the ip that looks like this.

c-11-11-111-11.hsd1.ma.comcast.net

 

Lol not they dont i changed my isp and its new.

 

i think thats what he means that they check the dns info i think whick will change with a new isp

 

Turn off you're modem for like 5 minutes.. :/

 

delete the cache beforehand?

 

You could use hotspot shield or what ever...
it changes your ip.

 

Use a mate's computer i guess :S
