How long should I wait?

I had my nipple pierced horizontly, just over two weeks ago. I have already changed the bar without a problem. Now I want the same nipple done vertically. I'm wondering how long I should roughly wait before I get it done?

When it's completely healed I supposed, I'd consult the person who pierced it to be safe however.

 

I was told it would take any where between 3-9 months.

I'm fast at healing from piercings, So hopefully it should only take 3 at the most.

But, seriously. You say you heal fast from piercings, but don't risk it. You could get a serious infection from it.

 

Not as much as I thought it was going to. I was so scared before I got it done though, It wasn't to bad =) Yea, I think I'll ask the piercest that did it how long I should wait.

 

it takes two weeks to get to the point where you can get it changed out. it can take some people up to a year to hear. now depending whether or not you want the other horizontal hole to close up, you can do it now. you would have to keep the vertical ring in for two weeks aswell, and this early your other horizontal piercing will close up way before two weeks. unless your nipples are big enough to fit another ring either infront or behind the current one.
