    Ok, so today I'm going to show everyone some simple, easy ways to increase their speed on their computer. It's very simple, 100x simpler with pictures, so ENJOY!

    Ok, so first thing is first. Click the start button on your computer. Once you have done that click

    "All Programs".

    After you have done that search up until you find the file "Accessories."
    While you are in
    "Accessories"
    Click the file that says
    "System Tools."
    If you have done it correctly you should be to where I am now;

    [IMG]

    If you have done everything correctly, you should see a program that says "Disk Cleanup"
    Now don't worry about running this program. People always ask me "Boom will it delete all my Files, Songs and Pictures?!?" Nope, it will not. It removes the unnecessary programs/files that you do not use. Once you have located "Disk Cleanup"
    You are going to want to double click it so that it runs. If you did so correctly you should get something that appears to look like this;

    [IMG]

    Now, I am the only one that uses my computer. Therefore, I am the only user of that has a profile on this computer. So when I run my "Disk Cleanup"
    I choose
    "Files from all user on this computer"
    Because I know there are no other users that can lose their files. However, I do not suggest running "Files from all user on this computer" if another user has a profile on your computer, if someone shares it with you, I suggest you run
    "My files only"
    You should have these options;

    [IMG]

    Once you have selected either choice, you will get another box that looks like this;

    [IMG]

    This box lets you choose from all the files you wish to clean, I usually select the
    "Clean All"
    choice.

    Once you click Ok, it takes a few minutes. While your waiting you can watch T.V or help someone in the house with someone since I do not recommend doing another activity while this is running.

    Once it has finished it will give you a screen that tells you how many files it cleaned, and give you a percentage of how much more space is on your computer.

    Now, we're not done yet. We're going to make our computers a little bit faster.

    Now, do the same thing you did before. Go to start, "Accessories" "System Tools" except this time, we are going to click "Disk Defragmenter" this is what it looks like ;

    [IMG]

    Click that program and you will get a screen that looks like this ;

    [IMG]

    Now you can either "Modify schedule" which will give you the option to set up a time which you want your computer defragmented, or you an choose the option "Defragment now" which will start right there. Might I hint to you that the Defragmenter is the slowest scan that your computer does, and it could take quite some time, so I recommend doing it when you have plans to go out or do something at the house with the family. Once it is finished it will tell you how much faster your computer is.

    And there you have it, a faster computer. Congratulations, less frustration because your computer is moving slow. Any time you think your computer is running slower then usual, just do these two things and it will clean it right up.

    Well, I hope you enjoyed my guide. If you didn't I apologize and I write guides almost every day, and the next guide I will do better to make it more satisfying for you.

    Thanks for Reading! ;)
