So what your saying is trying something that could lead to helping to prevent even 1% of Sythe's scammer problem isn't worth doing. Also 1% is a lot if you look at how many reports get posted daily.

If you don't try to stop them to the fullest then your just as bad as the people scamming. I honestly don't get why idea's that yes could be hard to set-up and could lead to people with these verified accounts scamming anyway are declined.

Bad people scam, smart people try to stop them, of course someone is going to try to become more trusted to scam, but not making things like this to help the community better itself means that they win in the long run either way. It's how it works and honestly, yes not many people will go threw with doing anything to get their money back but seeing as a lot of court system's are getting harder on internet scams I think this or something similar should be put into place, giving the people that want to take action a chance to do so.

It's another two sided damn coin and you guys always look at the bad without measuring the good, yes scammers CAN use the rank to scam bigger amounts, but then again they can also get into a lot of trouble in real life if they are to scam the wrong people.

My thought's and I would love to see something like this.

Whoo, been awhile since someone posted on this thread.

    Let's put it this way:

The majority of people on Sythe are younger, let's sayyyyy from 10-20 years. (I'm sure that accompanies most of us, if you disagree, please prove it to be different). These people, although they claim to want to sue people, bring them to court, and get their money back, don't know where to begin. First off, they'd have to go to their parents, who would probably be against wanting to sue some kid because they got scammed over the internet. So that's where it stops (assuming it got that far).

People don't follow through with claims like that.

Simply put, this is what happens:

The MM cannot 100% make sure the account is non-recoverable, but he can send in a tracker quest with the info the seller is suppose to give him..

Or we could get our address verified with sythe and get an "Address Verified" rank type thing. Instead of the seller every single time.

This idea sounds great in theory, but in reality doesn't work. Thorpe would know this better than all of you considering he basically created and ran SytheMils.

Then off topic somewhat, to all of you saying you would go to someone's house or sue them, get real and stop trying to look e-bad. Reality is none of you would do anything, I don't care what you might of been scammed. You'd get no where trying to sue someone for scamming you.
