echeck payment

ok, I just got a buyer that send me echeck as their payment, we were planning on a claim and cancel deal, but he said that you couldn't claim back echeck on paypal. He also told me once the echeck clears through the bank, he can never get it back. It's true?

He said the only possible way to get the money is hiring a lawler to get it back,

it's true you can never get the money back once it clear? or scammer alert?

Possible ways he can scam:
1) call the bank and request them to deny payment
2) not enough funds in his account


Of course, I bought stuff with an echeck last week and had no intention to scam at all.

 

eChecks are a pretty dirty way of paying. Unless your FG4 who has no intention on scamming.

Here is what sucks about GayPal. They 99% always side with the buyer.
So if he opens a dispute, your funds will be held and will probably be sent back to the buyer.

Next time don't accept eChecks.

Sure, but it looks bad on your paypal and bank accounts.

That's just a lie. There is nothing "dirty" about it. Some people do not have a debit or credit card linked to their paypal account as a backup funding source, and their only option is to pay by eCheck.

ANY form a payment on PayPal can be disputed. Don't attack this form of payment like it's the only one flawed. Also, if you provided proof to paypal that you gave the item/service exactly as described then you would not lose the dispute. Disputing a transaction is a protection offered by PayPal for the buyer, where the buyer and seller can work things out before money is refunded.

Next time think before you look like a jackass.

 

Just depends who is using the paypal account lol, whether the person behind the screen is a scammer or not. How big is the trade if you don't mind me asking?.
