Want to get back at jagex? Riots don't work

Riots fail guys. Don't bother. You know jagex doesn't bother to read rants hell they even use bots to answer appeals.

All the staff are doing are sitting their ass infront of the computer laughing at those bunch of idiots who think running around the runescape world shouting "bring back pking" is making a difference.

It has been made quite obvious that Jagex are focused on the money 10x more then anything else. Jagex made you suffer. Riots don't make them suffer, Membership losses do.

So to everyone who is a member and is able to let go of membership for 30 days without committing suicide, get a petition going and if you get a large amount of people to cancel their membership for atleast 30 days - this will effect jagex and make them think twice.

Canceling your membership then buying a new month back 3 days later will not have any effect on jagex and won't do any damage to the company.

Remember they don't care about what you say. No matter how much you swear, how much you spam or make riots. Did Riots bring back real pking back during the 2007 update? Not a chance.

You as a member have the control they dont. Surely if they fail, they could also shut down runescape for good but the hurts them even more. I could write 10 pages on this but you get the point. Patience is key.

If you want jagex to collapse deservingly you cancel your memberships. The addiction is what keeps jagex going. They say to themselves.. yeah these people are mad at us but we are still making money so who cares.

Save your money and use it on something worthy. Wait 1-2 months with no membership and watch them crash. For this you'd need a petition with atleast 1,000 members agreeing for jagex to see significant drops but nothing is impossible.

If you disagree don't flame me. I'm not even a paying member. I'm a free player. It's just my advice to all the others who are pissed off.

Well, I thought of this when they took out the wilderness and I actually might do it. Jagex should take out the limit and bring back the old wilderness and it'll be legit.

after they removed pking, there was a slight fall in subscriptions, though idk if it was a huge deal to jagex, they can rought out a few months if they really need too

 

The thing is, they have such a massive member base that it would be impossible to organize enough of them under one set of rules aiming for one set of goals. Grown men are unable to do this let alone children and we're talking about international and not just under one country.

 

To be honest, we don't need to cancel membership, they do that to the members well off on their own.

I mean this is a real great idea and all but it's not like everyone is die hard to stop their membership. Members is the only thing that makes runescape fun...so it's hard to say even more then 25% of the population agreeing to this will choose to quit members for a while.
