Chances that the new update will be removed?

I dunno man in the end we just have to wait and see what happens but honestly with all their past updates I just think that it's gonna stay

RWT was an actual threat. It was a problem for them, and for the game. There is no threat by removing this update.

They did, however, roll back that update about not being allowed to use SwiftSwitch, after a riot happened. Anyone remember this?

 

Jagex feels the need to remain the authority figure in the jagex-players relationship and they will not succumb to the players' demands (anarchy lol). So they won't remove the update, however they will create something new, possibly a new update that changes PVP again in hopes that players will like it and forget about the previous update.
