Selling Modified white PSP custom firmware 3.90M33-3~

Selling this great modded white PSP with cf 3.90M33-3 so you can run *cough* pirated *cough* ISO games. Make sure you own the real game so it isnt illegal :laugh:. Also Hardmodded. Has 4 Blue 0603 LEDs, 2 in the L/R triggers, 1 in the D-pad and one in the Button pad. These LEDs are activated by the hold button by the start button. Just put it in hold mode and the LEDs turn on. NOTE: The normal hold function does not apply, when you turn the hold button on, the psp will NOT go into sleep mode. It also has USB charging so you can charge it with a USB cord and dont have to use the standard AC/DC thing the psp gives you. You can use this too, but it can also be charged through usb. That pretty much sums it all up, so tell me what ya think!!!

It does have some minor scratching and wear and tear, but nothing too bad.

I have a charger and a 1gb memory stick that if i find i will throw in, but as i can not find them, for now they are NOT included. I do however have a soft case that i found that will be included =p.

Also if you have a psp, i can do this service for you for a small fee, because it costs a bit of money to buy the components and tools needed to do these mods.

I know for firmware mods I need a pandoras battery and a magic mem stick.
I need to know everything.

 

Im honestly not the greatest teacher so ill point you towards a few good learning sites.For software modding if you plan on doing the coding yourself like i do id suggest a site called psp-proramming.com. It teaches you how to Not only setup a psp development environment on your computer, but also gets you into the basics of c programming, specifically for the psp too.

For hardmodding, you will need some good soldering skills, which is only obtainable through practice. I would suggest going down to your local radio shack and picking up a 15W soldering iron, some rosin core solder, 30awg wire(when you get into psp modding at least), and some rosin flux. For psp modding also pick up some small screwdrivers, 30awg wire strippers(30awg wire is too small for regular wire strippers), and maybe a nice magnifiying glass/helping hands combo. Plan on putting some money into it as well. To get LEDs, i get mine from Mouser.com. Go there and type in 0603 SMD LEDs. These are the size of LEDs you are going to need for psp modding. Be warned, these LEDs are very very small. If you look at a dime and Look at the word "Liberty", these LEDs are about the size of the "E" in the word liberty on that same dime. And that is the whole component, the area you have to solder to is probably about 1/8th of that on either side. It will take practice to get the soldering down for these, but once you get some time in doing this, it becomes simple. Now that you know how to solder, go over to acidmods.com to find the wiring you will need to know to perform these mods. I would suggest starting out with a simple USB charge mod and a case swap before moving onto LEDs. After you get the LEDs down, move onto the Sound reactive LED mod, or the speaker mod. When you are good enough to do that, move onto, in my opinion the hardest psp mod, the dual nub mod. Again, all the information on these mods can be found at Acidmods.com. The main thing to remember for psp modding though is to be patient and thorough.

I Have no idea. I want it to be a fair price though. I stock psp is like what, 170USD now? But then this has a little wear and tear, but then it is modded. Im really interested in seeing what people would pay for this.

I never said i was looking for 170. Yeah it is fat. I dont even think that fats sell in stores anymore. But i did have to waste a perfectly good battery for the firmware, so i kinda did pay for the custom firmware =p
