    Wireless card

Hello, as you all know i had a thread about if the laptop i was ordering was better than my desktop that i currently have. Well today i ordered the laptop and now I'm wondering if the wireless card i have will work with my setup.

I currently am using a ethernet cable with my desktop but the Lynksys router that we have also gives off wireless internet signal also. Once i get my laptop that has a Dell Wireless 1397 802.11g Half Mini Card will i be able to use internet anywhere in my house wireless? Thanks.

Yes, as long as your house has a radius under 300 feet.

Make sure you enable the router to broadcast wireless signal in the setup, as if you currently only have a wired connection to it, it is probably turned off.

Yes, i live in a semi-small house. Its a linksys router and i can get wireless internet connection on my ipod touch and my psp so i'm guessing that the wireless is turned on. Thanks basterache3.
