High chance of being banned for buying gold?

So I'm thinking to buy around 170m osrs gold. Do u guys think if there's a high risk to get banned or do they mostly ban sellers?

 

Id say you have a very low risk of catching a ban, make sure to use a reputable seller who trades with high level accounts.

 

170M wont put you in a danger, jagex is after the bigger value trades.

 

buying that low of an amount would very very very unlikely to get you banned. Especially if it's a one-off transaction whereas you just buy like once a month or so.

and yes, sellers are always A LOT more in danger than buyers.

 

Oh okay, but since it would be my 2nd time this week, that's why I thought there would be more risk to it.

kinda, but still, unless you're buying billions like every few days, I don't think you should be worried about anything. But of course, understand that there are risks.

they rather ban the seller than buyer. chances to get banned for buying such a low amount is very low.

 

buying gold = low risk
selling gold = high(er) risk
