Hippy services - neglectful

Explanation of the trade:
The order was made through discord PM's so there's no TOS either of us accepted.

On 18-04 I made an account, ran tutortial island and got Hippy Services to do 1-60 strength for me. After ordering and payment was received he mentioned his worker was doing the service for him. On 21-04 the order is finished & I get the account. Service completed successfully & I was statisfied with the result.

On 22-04 the account gets hit with a RWT Goldfarmer (ban). Was a busy day so I wasnt playing OSRS.

On 23-04 I try and log in, see I'm banned and get in contact with Hippy. He doesn't understand why it's a goldfarming ban, neither do I, and we were both just confused on how it happened. That was until this one:

Sometimes a service provider will take all the right precautions and still get banned. I would accept that because there's always a small risk involved when you purchase services. But when your service providers' newest worker is neglectful and services the account on his own IP. I think the service provider should just own up to the mistake and assume responsibility.


How they scammed:
Didn't safely provide account service. Account got banned and provider won't take responsibility.

first of all he never asked me to use a vpn for the service
second of all i have terms of service in my sythe posts and in my discord its clearly there for a reason to read before you even order anything

and we have no idea why it got RWT banned only person who traded gp on to the account was the owner himself
my worker only trained stats on it after the account was done i told the owner of the account its ready after 1-2 days later he says its banned maybe he did something shady on the account i have no idea but the service was done already

 

When I asked you if you wanted to post on the report, that I even linked you the moment it went up, you said this: Screenshot - 9006e1a7d94aa8ad731ed3771541a2d9 - Gyazo. You get DNT'd and you're posting within 15 minutes of DNT. Shows much you care to resolve this.

I paid from another account. Not the one you trained. I have only confirmed that the order was ready. I didn't even get to trading over funds yet because I only have time to play games during weekends. Didn't feel like adding this because like you I can't proof it & I didn't feel like it'd add anything of value to this report.

Like I mentioned in our discord conversation earlier I ordered through your PMs and we never even discussed any TOS. To me you are the professional and I expected a service provider to know how to run his services safely. You even asked your worker to start using a VPN so you KNOW it's bad practice not to. Why else would you ask him to?

Thats true that i didnt tell him to agree with any rules but i consider rules to be followed why are rules made in the first place when people are unable to follow them

if you irl break any rules even if you dont agree with them or know them you still get punished if you break them !!!

 

So you're saying you can expect people to follow the TOS, because it's normal & everyone does it. You're also saying people can't expect you to use a VPN even though that's normal and everyone does it aswell.

he had the time to see this first rule for 5 days he is in my discord
he found me by sythe i think and under all my sythe posts i have the same rules

 

Do you not understand that if I don't agree to your TOS they are not valid?

Because if they would be I would be able to say "well I have some TOS written on the back of my coaster that clearly state you owe me $20 if the sun sets in the morning".
