What happens... When you are... Dead?

I'm not 100% religious and not 100% atheist... (just to throw that out there)

Like every now and then i think about what it would be like to be dead, and for some reason i just can't understand the feeling...? Like my mind has a barrier there and won't go no further...

Like if you die... What happens? like im so used to living i just don't know what it is like to not be able to think or do anything anymore...?

Anybody ever think about this before? if so mind helping me out?

 

I sometimes like to think that I'll be reborn as something else, I'm not religious or anything. But in reality I know that you just rot in the ground.

 

I know this but i just can't comprehend this... Like it is very hard to explain...

I guess im so used to living and never experienced death, is why i can't comprehend...

I sometimes think of being reincarnated too, but thats the only thing i can understand even if it isn't reality

 

Heh, I used to have fun thinking about this. It kind of twists your mind to imagine not existing, doesn't it?

 

Oh great lol, thats all i need something else to think about that is just as complicated... "How could time go back forever"

I think of dinosaurs as the earliest stage but i also know that it goes further than that by about infinity years....

 

Are you saying that at one time the world "Reset"?
In this case does this mean that we could be re-doing what other species have did Trillions of years ago?

 

I have a very odd way of thinking of this...
So if we arn't that special could this be like planned obsolescence with items we buy everyday, there will always be a later models to humans and so forth?

Now that i think of it, i may just have to accept that when im dead there is nothing left... although reincarnation would be cool and if someday it were possible it would be crazy...

You rot in the ground after decomposing for a 50 years, because for some reason the government makes you pump a dead persons body full of chemicals to preserve you.

 

Either 3 things. Your soul is reincarnated into something else. You go to heaven/hell. Or you rot into the ground until your body gets connected back into the earth.

You won't be able to know. Just put your mind at ease.

 

There is not much to twist in you're mind.

There is no evidence that your body goes anywhere but underground once you have past away. Those who choose to believe that you're body is sent to heaven or hell once you die is living their life based on imagination. People choose to believe that we go to heaven once we die to comfort their insecurity of the real meaning of what happens.

There is more proof on where we don't go then there is where we do go.

We know for a fact that when we die, we are placed in the ground (a hole) and we spend rest of eternity in that one spot. Heaven and hell is based on a figure of our imaginations, hence when you ask any individual what Heaven, or Hell is you will receive different answers every time. You ask the same individuals what happens, that they know for a fact, and they will explain the funeral process, and the burial.

So as you may read, my answer of 'What happens when you're dead' is: Nothing.

 

I have no proof for this, and I'm not stating it as fact, but I truly think that there is something after this life. I view my body as a spacesuit, and I was put into it to experience this physical world. When you die, the spacesuit is still there, but YOU the actual personality, the thing that makes up who you are, is not in there. I think a conscience is separate from the body. I mean our feelings can affect the chemicals in our body. If we feel sad, our bodies turn to shit. If you don't express your emotions, you can get a stroke. If you feel happy, you will live longer. Our feelings change the field that our atoms are in, therefore changing the atom and changing physical reality.

Material objects are an illusion. There is no such thing as an apple, all it is is molecules and atoms vibrating at a certain frequency. Turn up the frequency and your apple is no more. We can only see such a small part of the frequency range due to our physical limitations. I believe once we die we will be able to see the rest of it.

Do you understand how hypocritical that is? You are saying that 'Our feelings can affect the chemicals in our body' the key word in that statement is 'Can'. The video you posted is saying its all in you're mind. Which is what I said. You think that you're 'Spacesuit' theory honestly makes you feel better? You don't go around every day wondering what happens when you die. You live life as if you should, experiencing never forgotten times. Whether it be with you're friends or you're families.

When your having fun with you're friends or family the last thing on you're mind is where you go when you die and you live as if nothing is ever wrong. Just because people don't believe in a after live doesn't mean they live any different as you.

Exactly! Heaven, Hell. It's all a figure of our imagination. Our mind creates a world where we will be free after we die based on fictional events that someone has filled our heads with.

People go to church and listen to a Preacher preach for hours about fictional events that he nor you have ever experienced, but only what a ancient book has put into his mind. You believe in this afterlife to comfort your insecurities of dying.

You only get insecure when you're in church, or the discussion of where you go after you die comes up. You grow up on this story that if you do not live a christian life, (you're religion) and obey gods commands that you will go to another fictional world (hell) with no proof that neither of them are real. You grow up thinking hell is this terrible place, and if you do not live a sin-free live that you will burn for all eternity, which has not been in any way proven.

Heaven and Hell are a high-school story.

When a event happens in high-school the students of the high school start to discuss what happens. By the time a person, who has no clue what happened in the first place finds out, the story has been exaggerated so much he does not even know the real story.

Heaven and Hell is exaggerated to much. People name Heaven as the beautiful, all mighty place you go to if you have lived a sin-free live and have obeyed gods wish's, as hell is a terrible place where you burn for the rest of eternity.

The story of Heaven and Hell is so old, and has been exaggerated by so many people you don't even know for a fact it's even real.

 

well i believe, its the end of all. Nothing happens after your dead, as soon as your heart stops beating your dead and nothing is done after that. You blackout and die, Your body becomes the soil in the ground after your buried.

 

No one knows, but for me you just decay and your body stays and rots

 

It used to for me, but then I stopped caring about not existing and I found that I was a lot happier that way. Personally I find not existing more comforting than an afterlife for some reason, I just loathe the idea of eternity.

 

Its basically like when you are in deep sleep and not dreaming I suppose. Perhaps it is something better then that, however I do love to sleep.

 

I guess it all just stops. Nothing happens.

People expect me to believe in heaven and hell because I'm catholic. But the idea is utterly ridiculous. There hasn't been any proof that there is such a thing.

 

Actually it's the other way around, chemicals in our brains control our feelings and emotions, not emotions controlling chemicals.
