The Existence of God

Any scripture that lists a concept of God co-existing with a Devil has included the Devil being "evil", and the God being "good".

That should have been obvious.

Not only did you miss the entire point/question of the thread, but you're not even debating intelligently. (Missing the entire point of the forum.)

 

While unfortunate for your beliefs, Christianity is by definition, a religion. If you're referring to "a relationship with God", that is a completely separate matter and isn't even related to Christianity.

 

If im not mistaken many of our everyday life actions are influenced by something we have read in a book, whether religious, educational, fiction or nonfiction

People who Generally took "God" as the "All-Mighty" being.

You obviously are only familiar with the mainstream religions. There are tons of scriptures that are simply God & Devil = Good & evil.

Read up on them.

People who wrote it included everyday men like fishermen and even a tax collector. These were also the people that devoted their lives to following Christ after his ascension. The devil coexisted with God until the fall AKA his transition into hell. They dont co-exist now obviously since they are contradictory

Yes i could have also simply gone and got the dictionary definition considering i already know. I was looking more towards your opinion. Does it strike you at all that Christianity is the only belief that doesnt require good works to get into heaven (or whatever your religion or sect refers to it as)?

Yes i had an account before 07. If you were there you would know that sythe was hacked and all of the accounts were deleted.

Good Works: examples would be giving alms to the poor (one of the 5 pillars of Islam), Im not sure why i should be defining this as it is quite self explanatory but basicaly any nice or compassionate action in general either to influence many or an individual, or yourself. Sharing, Generosity, etc.

Im not sure why you are debating and arguing against something you know nothing of. You are ignorant for not learning or being informed on any religious belief or sect, and then to come and quarrel with no knowledge or facts to back up your argument is even more absurd

 

Then by all means, continuing to post in the SFA forum could mean many things. Two of the most obvious would be:

1. You're simply here for post count.

Well, as opposed to "good" works, there's "bad" works and no works at all. Seeing as "no works" isn't defined, we can only debate about good and bad. In this case, Christianity is indeed a religion that requires "good" works.

More over my point was the fact that good works is the key to get into Heaven in religions such as Islam and also Hinduism and Buddhism.

simply put if God doesnt exist then life is absoultely poinless. i know most of you are idiots so please think about this statement before you go no its not i live for me! the simple fact is living for yourself or anything else makes no difference because if you cease existant it dosnt matter. Logically their has to be a higher being.
