No... Jethr0x got demoted for "helping Sigex"

Like has been said before, if somebody can't take the time to send a pm, or check that the MSN to whom one is speaking isn't an imposer's MSN, then a thread listing all of the impostor's isn't going to be much of a help.

Some people are just plain stupid, and, as long as people are stupid enough to get scammed by an impostor (keep in mind the young age that people play runescape at), then there will always be impostor's.

There will always be impostors. I guess the only thing for it is to always request a PM.

There shouldn't be a sticky. No one checks them anymore. I always see people complaining in the Feedback section about their IP being blocked. They can't even go to the Community forum to check the sticky thats already there.

We've tried. They only amount to extra maintenance though. No one reads the lists, except to add names. There's still an automated list in the scam forum, if anyone wants to use it.

But, you're missing the point of an impostor. Most of them take advantage of the fact that the trader won't look closely enough at the MSN - ie, by making one underscore look like two, using an i instead of an l, flipping two letters, changing @live to @hotmail, etc.

The traders that don't look closely enough at the address to notice, or don't ask for a PM, are not the ones that are going to go running to the Impostor List sticky every time someone adds them.

I actually do agree with sin, It's.. really their fault for not looking that closely, I do suggest that people do what I did in my profile hopefully it'll help :).

Double check your MSN. Very nice, how much? ;o

Anyways, I would have to agree with Sin. As said in the OP, I said this would probably be denied. I already saw some flaws in it, but I was just irritated. I had some imposters to go around, and I needed to have a reason to be able to post a thread so people could see them. Just me ranting somewhat.
